Warning: This is not your grandparents' chicken pot pie. Ours features slab bacon, cremini mushrooms, pasture-raised chicken, and Madeira for a deeply flavored filling baked under a flaky pie crust.

Chicken, Chicken Stock (Water, Chicken, Onion*, Celery*, Carrot*, Parsley*, Thyme*, White Wine Vinegar, Black Pepper*, Bay Leaf), Pie Crust (Flour*, Cultured Butter*, Water, Salt), Cremini Mushrooms*, Onion*, Bacon, Madeira, Sunflower Oil*, Cultured Butter*, Flour*, Sherry Vinegar, Parsley*, Garlic*, Salt, Black Pepper*, Paprika, Thyme*.

Preheat oven to 400°. Remove plastic packaging and foil lid. Using a fork or skewer, poke a few holes in surface of frozen crust.
Bake potpie on a sheet pan in center of oven until sauce is bubbling and crust is golden brown, about 50 minutes.
Let cool at least 10 minutes before serving.

(Optional) Egg wash: Before baking, beat 1 egg with a tablespoon of water and brush lightly onto the crust (milk or heavy cream work too).
