  • These are great on their own, but extra luxurious with a scoop of ice cream or mascarpone. Once the cakes are out of the oven, let stand to cool for a bit. Serve up in bowls or plates and add a scoop.

  • Whether you're whipping your own or buying it already made, a dollop of fluffy whipped cream is a heavenly topping for this dessert. If you're making your own, try adding a bit of full-fat Greek yogurt to the heavy cream for extra texture and flavor.

  • Flaky sea salt is one of our favorite ways to bring out the flavor and add a little crunch to our dishes – yes, even desserts! Slightly less "salty" than finer salts, flaky sea salt (we love Maldon or Jacobsen) can be sprinkled liberally tableside before serving.
